Spent 1983-85 playing baseball at Tacoma CC. Claim to fame was playing on that team with Mike Blowers, former Seattle Mariners thirdbaseman and now does the M's games on Root Sports. Also played at TCC with Scott Carpenter (class of '84). Had 3 great yrs at WSU rooming with Richard Balster, Kurt Peck (class of '84) and Marc Peck (class of '85). Go Cougs! Hired at Boeing in 1988 and have been holding down a desk there ever since. Married my hottie wife and best friend in 2006 in Maui with my best man Ray Atwood at my side along with Scott Martin and Marc Peck. Since 1996, I organize a 3 day weekend every Summer to golf with my old OH boys... Lee Sherman (fellow organizer), Ray, Richard, Scott, Doug Zylstra, Dan Weedin, Jerry Hawkins, Eric Seelye, Kevin Carrothers, Corey McIntyre, Ron Lange, Marc Peck, Jim Mathias, Jim Garvey (my bro-in-law, class of '80), Kevin Bailey (Donna Dewald's husband) and hope to someday get Paul Carlson back with us. Not everybody can make it every year but we usually get at least 10-12. We've traveled all over WA, and been to Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Canada, and will some day stretch out to other great golf destinations, spouses and money willing. Lots of great times with these guys and plenty of great stories to follow...

School Story:

Hey Mr. Des Voigne, we have a tug-o-war today. Zimmy, go get that football and I'll give you an ice cream sandwich! How about Zylstra breaking his hip while we had to hang on to a bar attached to the back of Duck's pickup. Watching Atwood trying to waterski on the back of Kenny's boat. I think he drank 10 gallons out of Campbell lake. Filling up hundreds of dixie cups full of water in the halls of Parker's and Vanderstoop's offices, then turning all of the desks over in Senor Ingram's classroom.
